After a PhD in Solid Physics I turned to “Soft matter” subjects. My current activity is focused on two main subjects: (i) the structural characterization of self-assemblies of squalene- or terpenoid- based prodrugs (developed by P. Couvreur’s team) in an aqueous medium; (ii)the sol-gel synthesis of ZnO-based Quantum Dots for fluorescence imaging.
